Financial Freedom

The year isn’t over, but 2024 might mark the year that we have seen the highest rate of retirement planning conversations and official retirement decisions for our clients. Burn out, a desire to spend more time with family and an interest in letting the next generation take on leadership positions have been amongst the reasons for official retirement. A theme that we’ve seen thread through these varying discussions with clients actively working towards retirement has been a desire for financial freedom, i.e. an ability to step away from an official work arrangement to, “do what I want”.

We decided to write about it and Lake Norman Magazine liked it enough that they chose to put us on the cover.
